Please join us for the 2019 New York City Babies and Toddlers Trauma Investigations Conference on September 12-13, 2019. This year’s Conference will be held at the NYC Office of Chief Medical Examiner’s Auditorium located at 421 East 26th Street. The conference will be sponsored by Babies and Toddlers, Inc. and New York University School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics. Our outstanding group of speakers from around the country will discuss various medical diagnoses and legal issues involved in serious injuries and deaths of babies and toddlers. We expect a large turnout of doctors, lawyers, and law enforcement. CME credits worth approximately 9.25 hours will be available (application pending). CLE Credits worth approximately 8.0 hours will be available (application pending).
About The BaT – Babies and Toddlers, Inc.
Babies and Toddlers, Inc. – The BaT will serve as an academic center of excellence for training lawyers, law enforcement, medical personnel and other professionals involved in the highly complex, medical-legal investigations and prosecutions of serious physical injuries/fatalities of babies and toddlers. The mission of The BaT is to develop and establish national best practices models for the medical and legal handling of these investigations and to provide comprehensive training for all disciplines that interact in this complicated, proliferating area. The BaT will serve as the national repository for education, best practices, data, research, and advocacy.
